So about three weeks ago I updated my PS3 with the lastest update revision, and just around that time my PS3 started to act a bit weird. At first it would load up my games, then after playing on 5-min period game in NHL09, the audio commentary and music would stop and then if I try to exit the game after I was done it would freeze up. Then I would turn off the system, try it again, but then it wouldn't even read the CD! So I shut it off completely and let it sit for a couple of days, and same stuff would happen. It also won't even play blurays and I'm kind of pissed off about it. My friend told me that he was reading in some forums that people have been having problems like that ever since the newest update, but I can't seem to find any complaints. Anyone have any similiar problems or might know what is wrong? If I'm not specific enough please let me know and I will try to clarify!

So last weekend I had the oppurtunity to actually play my playstation 3 for several hours. I thought to myself, "why not try out the KZ2 demo?" So after playing some NHL 09 (which is an amazing sports game) I finished installing it, and booted it up. My first impression was: wow that looks really ni- HOLY SHIT SOME DUDE JUST STRAIGHT BLEW UP IN MY FACE. The whole intro-scene reminded me of the trailer that SCEA showed at E3 a while back; which is a good thing! At first I had some difficulty getting the hang of the controls (but I blame myself for my lack of FPS skills on the PS3). The idea of having a cover system in a FPS game seemed like a strange idea, but Killzone 2 manages to implement it pretty well. As for the A.I, I have to say it was solid, not impressive, but solid. What I mean is: Oh cool they go behind cover, they blind fire, they throw grenades, try to dodge grenades. These aspects are pretty much standard for most above average shooters out today. Sev's (the character you play but if you don't know that... shame on you) squadmates seem a whole like Gears Of War delta-squad. They have deep voices, like to cuss, and shout such things as "oh damn you're cleaning that mess!" on the battlefield. The graphics are amazing of course but the attention to detail in the environment and on the helghast is phenomenal. That and the atmosphere of the game just sucked me right in.Over all, the demo really impressed me. But I am looking forward to playing it all the through way when I buy it.

Well, as the title suggests, there are some pretty amazing things you can do with microsoft paint. Don't believe me? Just check out the picture at the bottom here. Well, before you go asking "wtf that is the weirdest picture ever you must've been on something" or before you fiddy fans start blasting me, let me just say that I blame my boredom at work for this picture. Anyway, I was listening to " I Love Mondays " Video Feature and thought to myself that it would pretty cool if I could submit a video doing some hilarious antic about WHERE'S MY SKULL. But right off the bat, I ran into a big problem... I have no video camera. Well shit, there goes that idea. Even if I had a video camera, I would probably think of weird video that would end up with me just yelling to my weiner dog "WHERE'S MY SKULL"... funny huh? Usually I give up right there and move on with my life, but for some reason I thought to myself "fuck it, I will just draw fiddy on PAINT". If you have a boring job sitting on a computer for 5 hours, you would probably think the same. So while I was creating this masterpiece, I thought why not do this every week... just take some random picture (or one that has to do with a game) and create some disaster on paint? Well, here is my first one:

I know this idea will probably a complete miss, or a semi-hit. I dont know why I'm doing it, just for fun yeah?

So I was with my girlfriend yesterday, and she noticed this picture of my dad on the computer. She looked at me and was like "Babe, you're dad was quite the hunk back then huh? Too bad you didn't get all of his traits" Fuck, what do I say to that? I think that she was kind of joking but I don't know... Shit, I feel like working out now... :(
