It would be cool to see him join GB as a sports editor, but I think that he would be a bit of an outcast. From what I heard on podcasts and such, the GB crew doesn't really care for sports games which would make the addition of one seem weird. Also, if you don't like that GB doesn't have a lot about sports games, you can create/edit/review a sport's game page. That's what GB wanted in the first place, a gaming web-site with a strong emphasis on community participation. Brian was a pretty cool dude and I hope where ever he goes that it suits him well. As many here I also stopped going to Gamespot and will from time to time go to check out their reviews on big games or e3 coverage. I don't really have any dislike for the site, I just lost interest after a while. Beardwatch!
I recently just got some extra spending money and am considering buying a PS3 game. The only problem is that I can spend the full 60 dollar price for the newer games and I got Red Dead Redemption about 1 month ago (so I feel like there really isn't any reason to buy something new). I am stuck between buying KILLZONE 2 or ASSASINS CREED 2... I played the demo of KZ2 and enjoyed it quite a lot. I own Assasins Creed 1 and did enjoy the game, yet found it a bit repetitive. I looked up reviews for both games and they both have pretty high scores. Also, KZ2 is 10 dollars cheaper than AC2 but I am not really taking that into account.
Which game between the two do you think I should buy? Or if you know of any older really good PS3 games please let me know! (I'm into shooters and action-adventure games).
I've had soo many funny memories from Battlefield... This happened on Battlefield 2 (put I'm sure Bad Company 2 players can relate to this situation). I was driving in a jeep with my friend Matt in the gunners seat, as I made a sharp turn to the enemy base I noticed a tank driving slowly toward us. Luckily, he missed us and I was able to pull away and drive off. He started to chase us and I decided to ditch the car and drove it off a cliff (parachuting down to the water so he couldn't get us). I told my friend Matt of the plan (we were at a net cafe, he was sitting right next to me) and drove off the nearest cliff. As soon as the car drove off the cliff I jumped out and yelled "Matt get out!", he didn't get out. Try to imagine watching a car slowly falling off a cliff while you're frantically yelling "GET OUT OF THE CARR!!!" and then see your friend blow up with the car. It was pretty frustrating but funny.
You know I was actually looking at the Maximas and Altima Coupes, I always heard the maximas are really nice and stable cars. I also learned that Nissans are very easy/cheap to maintain.
