Being a mac user and not having a 360 anymore, I am beyond stoked that there is a version of this game I can play on my computer.

Finally got it today, but....there's no sound. In the settings it shows those levels are all the way up, and my speakers/headphones work just fine.

Anyone else run into this problem or have any idea how to fix it?

I enjoyed it a lot.

When the false emperor set-up thing happens and you realize that she sold you out, I was genuinely pissed and bummed that she would sell me out like that after all I've done.

Anytime a game can make real-world me feel betrayed by the actions of a character, I consider it a good thing.

That said, I agree that it's not quite as strong as in Oblivion

yeah....ps3 framerate on my 40+ hour save file is pretty terrible in spots.

not all the time, but enough to bum me out.

Been working on alternate characters until they patch it, which is hopefully soon.

I bought a ps3 after having to go through 4 360s dying on me, but man I miss getting the slightly more polished version of stuff....

yeah, giants are pretty easy once you get far enough into stealth.

x15 dagger damage (potentially double) will one shot them for me now.

I am deep into the game, though.

I almost always have this problem with these types of games, Oblivion specifically. Never been able to stick with one thing for more than a dozen hours.

For some reason, it isn't happening to me with Skyrim. Through just playing the way I felt like playing, my character is....exactly where I like it to be. Mostly stealth focused, lots of bows and dual-wielding swords with crazy high Illusion to always be invisible. 35 hours in and I'm still absolutely loving it.

I made a heavy magic user and have a few hours into that, but mostly just messing around and getting a feel for the different types of spells (conjuration is pretty badass in Skyrim). Haven't sunk much time into it. With around 35 hours logged into my main character, it's hard to justify playing around with another when there's still soooooo much to do. I'm sure I will eventually though.

@Hulsey90: The reason for seeking out invisibility was to help for the Thieves Guild, specifically. Not being able to always just stealth arrow dudes made the first few missions pretty tricky.

I actually was able to buy it from the guy at the college today, for some reason. Might have been a weird glitch that didn't allow it to show up, even though my skill was high enough, but I got it.

I'm roughly 30 hours in playing a mostly stealth character and I've been wanting to get some of those high level illusion spells, specifically invisibility.

Thing is, the illusion guy at the Winterhold College doesn't have it. He only has a handful of spells, even though my illusion level is around 80 now (got crazy magic regen gloves and have been spamming muffle )

I thought maybe when your skill was high enough more would be available, but I guess not. Anybody know where to find it?
