The NGP is looking like it'll go the same route as the PSP. Slightly lesser graphics than it's console counterpart yet tries to be a home console too much rather than an actual portable.
A lot of my friends got this game but I'm gonna wait until the full game is released to get it. Bugs will be sorted out by then and there'll be more things to do. I'd even bet if there were still problems after patches, he'd optimize the full game a bit more.
@neoepoch:Â FortressCraft just came out not that long ago. A very small team is working on it (I think it's actually one guy) so obviously they can't update the game to Minecraft's standards right off the bat, and they're already working on those features for future chapters (and the full game if people wait long enough). You can't expect something this new to have all those features you mentioned.
I finished the game about 2 weeks ago and I really liked the setting, story, ending and characters. I just really did not like the combat and I hated how short it was. My main concern with some games like this is their length, I have the same problem with this game and games like Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, Dead Space 2, etc. I know that quality has more power over quantity to some people but I still feel cheated out of an experience when I can finish an adventure in around 10 hours, for some even shorter. I just hate this trend. There are like only two games I can think of which have gone above and beyond by offering amazing gameplay with a really long storyline.Â
The combat was really rushed I felt. Swings were oddly timed and it just felt like it was quickly put together with no real "hook" to it, it was just so basic. The same combo every time, an occasional "master swing" or whatever it was called, and some counters.
Although I absolutely loved the Cloud. I love how this game compares to Dragon Ball.
This is what has been going on in Canada for the past little while. Thankfully some of them are backing down due to high pressure from consumers. Except the caps they were talking about here were in the 20's.
Still, this seems like it's just taking society backwards. We are growing more and more towards internet based communication, and then they pull something like this that says you can only do so much of it. I'm not really sure about the grand scale of things though, maybe even 150 GB per month is a lot for someone who regularly Skypes, uses Netflix, downloads items and games online.
When you're able to post more regularly, make another blog and we can all have a party that you're back! Sad to see you go. Hope the wind blows the way you're running.
Wow I'm really loving what I'm hearing about the game. I realize that it's a huge RPG powered by Gamebryo so there are bound to be some hiccups here and there, but the fact that it's much improved over the first AND comes with the expansion, AND is cheap means it's a must buy for me! Can't wait to play it! I just hope my Wal Mart has this in... lol
I haven't played Divinity 2: Ego Draconis but form what I understand the game had quite a bit of technical problems. How is this updated version holding up for those of you who've played it? I actually think I might go out and get this game in the next few days if it's an improvement.
