I read one article from N4G that said that the PS3 version had a softer, more washed out look which complements the lighting, but the 360 has more detail level and better textures. Sounds kinda like Borderlands, except reversed!

I played it less than a year ago all the way through and I had a blast. I am a huge fan of the original though, I just really like the atmosphere. I dunno. Maybe I'm a Rare fanboy.

The reset warranty only applies to other things besides the red rings. They will still fix RRODs any time, as they know how common it is. Like What Breadfan said.

Maneater was the hardest boss in the game for me. The only reason I got passed him was thanks to some random blue phantom who face raped him in like 4 spells. Some little orbs that floated around his head then shot at him. Whatever that spell is, I want it!  All I have left now is 1-3 and 1-4... Really dreading both of them. "

1-3, The Penetrator, is my favorite boss. His sword swing can be dodged if you time them perfectly and he has one lethal move which can kill you in one hit. He's just so awesome. "

" @Dan_CiTi: Well, Demon's Souls can't be ported to anything.  Sony owns that IP entirely, it's as much theirs as White Knight Chronicles or Wild ARMs.    As for this game...well...the developers, Silicon Studio, said they could port it to 360 since the tech isn't very complex, but there are no plans to do so and it's entirely up to FROM Software to decide.  Considering how well it did in Japan so far (which is to say, not very), there's very little reason for FROM to spring for a 360 port that might eliminate any potential profits the game might have already brought in.  If it does well in the US, they might consider a late port, but honestly, it's a niche game and these kinds of titles rarely jump platforms as it is; the developers just don't have the money for it. "
