Yea same problems here. If i try streaming a video I either get an error or the movie stops randomly. I think Dave has spoken about how it's hard to maintain a stable flow of data for such a long time but I only seem to be having problems this past week. Using progressive works just fine, but it is not ideal.
Not sure if this has been reported but I can no longer click the timeline in a video to skip ahead, it just reloads the video from the start. Streaming and Progressive, Windows 7 latest version of FF.
The R18 issue in Australia has cone a long way in the past year and a R18 for videogames is a given at this stage but getting there is going to be a long process. It's not like our government can just say "fine do it!" and the next day it's done, we all know how long it takes governents to get stuff things rolling.
There was also talk of doing a major review of the entire classification system down here which would only delay things.
So an R18 rating is coming, it's just going to take some time, and that's just shitty for us in the meantime.
I've suffered a stammer myself for most of my life and I can say without a doubt the frustration and embarrassment and anger portrayed in the film by Berty is spot on.
Part of the Rock Band / Guitar Hero thing was the fact that here in Australia we didn't get any Rock Band games until Guitar Hero had firmly secured the market. So for those not in the know RB just looked like a cash in version of GH. By the time RB came out people had brand loyalty and GH equipment on their side and just overlooked RB.
As for the topic, there are a few special editions sitting on my shelf I wish I didn't buy.
