I really dislike that it's the same button as fire to execute it, it doesn't feel natural. You can't rapidly fire your gun to empty your clip without paying very close attention to how many shots you have left otherwise you end up accidently missing the active reload when trying to shoot. I've now resorted to just holding down the fire button for pistols because it was such a regular occurrence for me (and that in itself presents the unsqueeze and squeeze-again issues you've highlighted).

It just feels like they were trying to be too clever with the triggers here. It's current implementation steals too much of my focus at key moments during combat.

I've been along for the ride with these guys since the mid-2000s. Hell of a run, hell of a season. I wish the 3 of you all the best!

I'd create an exception in Ghostery for any of the cbsinteractive/cbsi URLs, I imagine they're required js files to make the player work. There will be an element of tracking involved to be able to pick up where you left off when watching the video for example and for internal insights.

You could maybe argue these shouldn't be required for the player to function.

Actually, Disney has owned the X-men ever since they bought Marvel, it's just because Fox had the film rights they reeled in the merchandising licenses for most X-men products....including their appearances in video games to avoid promoting a rival studio's movie franchise. Also given Disney's purchase of Fox will take well over a year to approve and take effect, they still don't own those rights....that's why 21st Century Fox has been greenlighting X-men projects left and right trying to squeeze the last bit of cash they can out of the property before they lose it. So I doubt any mutants will be added to Infinite any time soon. Nightcrawler would be top of my wishlist though.

Even if they did have the rights, I still wouldn't expect to see any significant development on MvC:I (outside of balance/bug fixes) considering the way things have gone with the game.

Heavy Bullets is an indie game that comes to mind which is pretty much designed around this mechanic.

It'd be nice if we could wrap up Half-Life's story. I'd honestly just play an Episode 3 in the HL2 engine at this point just to see it through.

But yeah, realistically, we're never getting a Half-Life 3. If it was going to happen it would've happened years ago.

Decided to jump back into solo last night after pretty much exclusively playing duos with my buddy and coming close a couple of times. Finally got my first taste of that chicken dinner!

Only ended up needing tp get 2 kills, just played it smart and ran away/healed whenever I felt I was in a fight that I couldn't win and picked my moments to engage.

@damodar: thanks for the advice ^_^ the only issue I ever have with street fighter is the controls. I don't understand how some of the inputs work (like how it'll say up, down, punch and up will be black and down will be white but it doesn't work), but other than that I like it. ^_^

These will probably be charge moves. So, for example, Guile's flash kick inputs are down (or down back) then up and kick, but you actually have to hold down for 2 seconds before you input the up and kick.

Best I've done in terms of placement, but I've had better runs where I've killed more players.

You got first place after only killing one person? Prettttty sneaky.
