Oh that. No - that would be way more useful and I kind of target that "barely useful" niche. Actually - I need to update the app anyway (i set the genre on Xbox to action adventure lol) so I might sneak in a change for a tap button. I'm kind of curious how to code it.

No unfortunately XNA Indie doesn't expose access to the microphone. The full version just enables you to control the metronome to be faster or slower. If you're a pro it probably isn't super useful, but if you're a beginner it could be neat :)

I don't claim that my apps make sense, just that I made them :)

Hey guys I'm back with another release (3rd one so far). This time it's a metronome (but its uses all the power of the xbox so it's really accurate!).

It's called Metronome HD and you can find it on your Xbox in games marketplace, indie games, new arrivals. Here's a quicky linky link, too:   http://bit.ly/MetronomeHD

As usual, anyone from GiantBomb is entitled to free copies as long as you get the trial first so I don't waste the codes!

For reference here is the thread about the first game I gave away on GiantBomb. Nothing spectacular...just a little something something you know. Anyway I have another little something that came out today on Xbox Live Indie Games.

I don't have the codes yet (Microsoft sends em soon-ish though), but you can still check out the trial. The game is called Overscan Sniper HD and basically all it does is reveal overscan issues with your HD TV (if any exist). And there is a surprise special effect for shooting the sniper rifle.

You can find it in the games marketplace, indie games, new arrivals. Or you can use this link that will take you straight to the spot on the website (if you get the trial there, it will appear in your games list on your xbox...magically).

Is the game good? Not really. But it's worth a laugh to check out. Or if you actually need to test your HDTV, then it's something that will work. Anyway when I get the codes I'll offer some up here if anyone is into the trial :)

@Hamst3r: I suspect I'll have another game by then and we can hook up. This is pretty much only sensible to play for new years :)
