Here is my top three:
1/ Goldeneye (N64)
2/ Nightfire (gamecube)
3/ everything or nothing (N64)
James Bond
Character » appears in 31 games
James Bond is a suave British MI6 agent with codename 007 and a licence to kill. Appearing in several games, films and novels, James Bond is one of the most famous and popular secret agents in Western popular culture.
Best bond game ever:
I agree Goldeneye number one. but i think everything or nothing which was a PS2 and Xbox game (released in 2004) is number two. it had about 27 missions and it had a great co-op mode that is still fun to play and challenging.
Not any competition ,Goldeneye. -btw check out some gameplay and info of the upcoming Quantum of Solace game, shipping side by side with the movie release November 7th,it actually looks very promising. I think Activision taking over the bond games is the best thing to happen to it before it faded into oblivion.
Easily GoldenEye 007. Days of fun spent on that game. I remember when a night with friends wasn't complete without a multiplayer skirmish on Goldeneye. Too bad most of the subsequent JB games have been pretty lame in comparison. Everything or Nothing was a decent game though, especially with the co-op. Still has nothing on Goldeneye though.
When Goldeneye released, my college roommate and i were seniors. He went the next day and bought a N64 and Goldeneye. It was the only game we had for the entire year. Occasionally we would have a game night where we picked up a projector and 100 inch screen from the telecom school. That made four player matches fun. The facility is still one of the most fun levels in a video game ever.
Since I've done alot of the work on the james bond pages here *taking a break to play games* I find that golden eye was the top of the ladder and rogue agent was below the bottom of the ladder rogue agent being such a bad game....that its unplayable.
"Goldeneye easily... That made FPS imo.I'd say that Goldeneye was the first FPS to work well on consoles. It wasn't the first but it was good and it was more than an average first person shooter in many ways. If you play Goldeneye today you'll notice it's objective structure is something some games to this day still have problems with.
Edit: Ok people will probably yell at me for that... But lets say that Goldeneye 'paved the way' for FPS... Doom was revolutionary there's no questions about it."
Goldeneye in terms of innovation and evolution. But I think the later ones have eclipsed it, especially considering how the mechanics have aged since then.
Best: Nightfire - Everything or Nothing
Worst: 007 The world is not enough (GBC)
Also, Goldeneye is way overrated.
Didn't like any of them except Goldeneye, however I can't handle N64 graphics anymore so I'm just going to say GE and QOS.
Goldeneye was meh. Still don't understand why people go so batshit about that game. It looked like ass when it came out, and the controls are all auto-aim bullshit.
Personally, Everything or Nothing was the best. The way that game made you feel like you were Bond with all the little "Bond moments" was fucking AWESOME!!! Plus, the multiplayer was good also.
