Doesn't help that the whole 10 year anniversary thing had everyone reminiscing about all the good times they had with it.

6 AA batteries be damned, I really wanted to play sonic on the ol' game gear even if it was for an hour.

Truth be told, I never owned a PS2. I blame it on nintendo fanboyism even though the Gamecube sucked.
