Hall of Shame 2011
This is a list of games that are conspicuously absent from my Best of 2011 list, mostly out of spite.

This is a vanilla Zelda game with bad controls and some baffling design decisions. That said, even a bad Zelda game has a lot going for it.
I really wanted to like this game, and not just because of the 8-4 connection. Unfortunately it's just not a very good video game, and while the story and setting have some wonderful high points, they aren't consistent enough to carry the rest of the game.
Skyward Sword and Shadows of the Damned have their flaws, but at least they have character. This game, on the other hand, combines mediocrity with blandness.
I enjoyed a fair bit of my time with this game, but in the end I just couldn't keep playing. It's not a particularly competent shooter or stealth game, inventory management is a chore, and the inability to respec is just criminal.
I wish I had kept my 80 bucks and just bought Rez HD instead.
