What's with all the Sony praise and the Microsoft hate? Are we forgetting what Sony Europe do? Take last week for example, SSX digital on XBox for £35, SSX digital on PSN £58.

This doesn't even come close to Sony making amends at their rediculous pricing structure over here in the UK. As a poster said earlier, Sony will say RRP is £49.99 and take 10% off of that, when in reality if you see a game in a shop for more than £39.99 you just walk away.

Not to mention the fact some of the digital copies on PSN are lacking content that existed on the disc version. Metal Gear HD (no MSX games), God of War Collection (no extra features), Ico Collection (no video extras), Sly Cooper Collection (no Move mini-games) and they often still cost more than their disc based versions.

Sony can rot in hell for what they've done to their European customers with constant delays, lack of parity in content between global markets, and their gouging pricing structure.

I bought the UK cart and it came with 3 courses, and i think 5 cars. It also came with a code for the Gold Pass (which costs about £5.49 on PSN) and a discount voucher for Katamari (£7 off i think). The Gold pass so far has given 2 extra cars and 1 extra course, and about 40 music tracks, that all need to be downloaded onto a memory card. I think in total, there will be a 3rd car and a 2nd course entitlement with the gold pass.

Things seem a bit thin on the ground both here and over at Tested.

I own both psp releases as well as XBLA and PSN titles, just because the wife is well into it. But myself personally have never seen the big attraction. I have played them and looped back round to start of the levels but it just does nothing for me. I had fully intended to give the Vita version a miss but having seen the track list I may have to reconsider. I mean, how many times does one get to buy a video game with the Pet Shop Boys in the soundtrack?

I agree re: waiting for the game to be released to see what it's like, but my excitement has decreased after this quick look. As for your other comment, Gears was not a sequel to Quake so that's not really a relevant comparrison.

@Alexandruxx "You are blinded by nostalgia. Even if most drops look the same, there will still be more unique drops then all combined on Tricky." Give me variety and quality of generic quantity every day. I'm not saying i want SSX Tricky from years back, i want a 2012 SSX Tricky "Also, Amped 3 is remembered for it's funny bits. The game itself was merely okay (in my opinion it's thought of as good because it was a launch title and it looked graphically better then older snowboarding games)." Again, i'm not saying i want Amped 3 gameplay, i'm saying i want SSX gameplay with Amped 3 story mode, that's the best of both worlds.

SSX Tricky was awesome. Fair enough it only had a handful of courses vs the new game but they went for quality not quantity. You had pinball levels, Central park levels, Tokyo levels etc. What does the new game offer? Mountain level in Alps, mountain level in New Zealand, mountain level somewhere else. They all look bland and generic and lack the style of the original games. The fun was learning shortcuts and trick areas in the minimal courses available, who's going to remember every detail of 153 different runs? I was hyped for this game but now am somewhat dissappointed. Even the racing looked rubbish. If i remember rightly, in Tricky you could push your opponents and knock them over. In this new one it appears your opponents are just ghosts so it's essentially reduced to a time trial not an interactive race. They've also focused too much on the Autolog stuff i feel. This feature is only any good when you have a number of people on your friend list buying the same game. All of my friends have radically different tastes in games and it's really only AAA titles where more than 2 or 3 people on my friend list own the same game. Amped 3 proved you can do a game like this and have a decent single player experience. An ideal game would have been SSX Tricky gameplay tacked onto Amped 3 story mode. Instead they've gone for a sort of semi-realistic setting ala Shaun White, with exagerated physics and move sets. SSX was an EA Sports Big title, which historically was all out bonkers, they seem to have forgotten that philosophy. This was going to be a day one purchase for me, now i'm not so sure.

Giantbomb app updated thru Eden automatically but still getting the same problem. Funnily enough tho I installed the tested app thru Eden and that one works fine. What folders should I delete from the atv2 to force a clean install again?
