Patrick: "The customer is always right".

No. I simply dont think so.

I do not want more Call of Duty. I get tired of always getting those perfect happy endings in (american) movies.

Not saying the ending is great. It could have been done a lot better. But I certainly dont feel robbed by not being able to get a flag-waving perfect happy ending. And I really, really hope this controversy will not mean that no one ever from now on will try to dare making something like this again.

I only did the one run through ME2. Nobody died in the suicide mission, but since I upgraded everything on the Normandy and did every loyalty mission I was too late and lost the entire crew.

Now in ME3 the normandy felt awfully empty and i stood a long time by the memorial plaque and read all the names mourning for them and regretting my mistake. I also like how my femshep romance with Kaidan in ME1 (and in being true to him not romancing anyone in ME2) carried over really well into ME3. Love you Bioware! I forgive you for DA2!

I guess I ought to thank Jeff for his review/quicklook/comments on the podcast. Not that he said anything wrong, but he got me to lower the expectations on the game (they were sky high) and now I am having a wonderful time discovering how much I love this game.

Nice blog entry - totally agree with what you say there.

I do have a game that for me contains the worst of the worst escort mission(s)

Its Wing Commander Privateer II when you escort traders. Escpecially when its an escort mission thats part of the main story, meaning failed mission equals game over.

Whenever a sector / jump point is cleared the trader and you are supposed to make a hyperspace jump to next sector / jump point.

Jumping is not instant, there is a short delay between pressing the jump key and the actual jump (jump engine charging or whatever). And you can only jump when there are no enemies around.

The trader will announce when its time to do the jump.

The catch here is the timing when the trader jump and when you jump. When he announce its time to jump, if i happen to jump a fraction of a second before he jumps, enemies might appear and he is caught in the sector and even if i jump back to help him, he will be space junk before I have a chance to return and the mission fails

If, on the other hand I always try to jump just a little later than him, new enemies may appear and I am caught in the sector and have to finish off all newcomers before jumping - again to find space junk and a failed mission because theres always bogies waiting when you arrive at a jump point.

For me, there are no other games thats even close to this in the category worst escort missions.
