There is a low-rank quest on the quest board that teaches you about the new clutch claw changes that came with Iceborne.
When an enemy flinches back 90 degrees away from you and starts drooling you can clutch onto them and extend that flinch by 4 seconds. This lets you do a wound attack(Y) or yeet(R2(requires slinger ammor to be equipped)) the monster into a nearby wall/other monster.
