I imagine most people's preferred genres don't include Turn-Based Strategy and I doubt Greed Corp gives an especially strong first impression. A niche is a niche is a niche.

I've gotta blame the trial for a little of Greed Corp's unpopularity, the tutorial made no sense to me, just told me to build the unit it wanted then move them where it wanted. Didn't know how to play the game till I'd played a few levels and I've gotta say I really like the game, especially its relative simplicity and the risk/reward balance with building harvesters.

Great for a first civ game to whet your apetite, especially if you, like myself, are more of a console gamer.

Can't wait to hear the giantbomb crew talk about their newly-launched site.  Though after E3, 3 daily podcasts, their site launch and the associated work since, i fear they might be too tired. Then again, the giant bomb team runs on energy drinks and dont sleep, reassuring :).

Co-op campaign on their equivilent of medium most likely. Or solo if my friend can't get the game day 1 lol. Then most likely the lure of online will rear it's head.

Not a fan of the name personally, perhaps lightning will seem more appealing after playing the game. :P

Depends on the story i suppose, considering the vast majority of games have male protaganists it's refreshing to play ones with females as the lead.

I have a 120gb hd, probably gonna install soem games to it, depending how much space they take. I personally dont mind disc-swapping but i'd rather not have over 5 discs for one game lol.

Do these RPGs really need so many discs? Oblivion was a big game, loads of dialouge and a large free-roaming land, graphics were pretty good too, only ever needed a single disc.
