Best of 2012

Just a rough list of games to remind me which 2012 games I've played and liked.

Exceptions:

Dishonored: As much as I like stealth games, I found Dishonored's story and characters really bland and pretty much boring. The stealth elements worked okay, but the game's a lot more fun when you kill enemies instead of avoiding/tranquilizing them, which isn't how I usually play stealth games and would give you a different ending.

Assassin's Creed III: I love the series, and finally they've moved from Ezio and Italy, this game however, got pretty tedious and short of maybe playing some multiplayer I have no interest in playing more of it. The story did nothing for me either, I cared back in ACII, but Desmond's story wasn't exceptionally interesting and Connor's was kind of dry and lengthy.

New Super Mario Bros 2: Perhaps the first Mario game I've played and been ultimately disappointed by.

Mark of the Ninja: I think it's a good game mechanically, which is saying something for a stealth game; but the look, voice acting and cut-scenes did nothing for me. For some reason I can't more than like the game.
