Yes I do consider them as casual games. Most of the time I just play mobile games if I'm waiting for my girlfriend or waiting in a long line just to kill boredom.
I do get your point regarding this matter, I do sometimes feel that they sometimes become a hindrance, I felt this way while playing tomb raider and gears of war. But then again, no one is forcing us to get all the collectibles (unless it will require you to unlock a achievement)
Cheats are always the number 1 game ruin-er, not only on consoles but also on PC gaming as well, just like before in Cabal, where almost new character is a wall hacker and speed hacker.
I really don't know why people cheat and still expects that they have "earned the right" on that achievement or item.
This happened to me when playing borderlands, I have joined a player with a quest that I have recently finished. But to my dismay I got the same quest again and this time the NPC is no where to be found because I have already finished that quest. And what worse it that it Auto Saved, now I'm stuck on that quest forever.
Nope I don't think I got good at anything, everytime I play and when I think I'm already good at it and when it is time for me to play with other players, I feel like I'm still at the bottom. Even with all the practice.
The only thing that I really felt good when I was playing gothom city imposters.
