If you buy it via GMG, it does not unlock on Steam so youll have to use Capsule to DL tha game, and unlock it in Uplay.

Its sure is a shitty way to get games to buyers and i dont for the life of me get why i cant just insert the key in Uplay and DL the game with that client.

Skyrim or Witcher 2, and Witcher 2 shouldve won last year in the first place.

Now you know how the rest of the world feels, America.

So if youre getting it via GMG download Capsule and Uplay before hand and youre set.

Its not a Steamworks game, so you will have to download the installer via GMGs Capsule program, and once you begin installing the game you will be prompted to finish the instal in Uplay, so you dont need the Capsule once youve dl the installer.

You also need to insert the key to Uplay, and after the first time if you want to instal the game again, its via Uplay.

I downloaded ACIII this way, and atleast that time GMGs servers chucked bad, was getting like 20% of my full dl speeds so it was a long ass dl time.

I havent had any problems with Uplay though i use it in offline mode mostly.

I had the same thing, i just powered thru the game and did none of the sidemissions.

Instantly unistalled the game once i finished and i have no plans on returning to it.

Or buying another AC game.

Sure i got 60 frames too, it just fluxuates too much on the highest settings in terms of what those settings actually do.

Very High enviroments versus High especially.

Yeah, the port is poorly optimized for sure.

And the story in general feels rushed and lacking in almost every way..

Anyone else got the Vsync to work, ive got no options for it on the game menu and ive tried enabling it thru Inspector, control panel and D3Doverrider but i get massive tears every time.

Huh, so if i alt+tab out of the game it seems to lock vsync, i bet this has something to do with Uplay.

You guys werent kidding, the framerate is all over the place, everything else on High except aliasing on Normal and i only dip to 50s now and then.

Sure hope for patch or new drivers to help with this soon, id like to set shadows to Very High to get better ambient occlusion.
