I've got a Mid-Late 2010 Model Macbook Pro and I'm probably holding out until later in the year for the Mac version of the game to come out. Hopefully, it runs well.

And hopefully it has multiple platform support. My gut says "LULZ ITS EA DAWG PUBLISHERS AIN'T YOUR FRIEND". My heart wants to believe.

You hear this, EA? Prove my heart right and make me a loving person.

Been reading the individual comics as they've come out and its amazing. Like surprisingly great. Something to consider if you're considering the Collector's edition.

Halo 4 isn't as bad as people make it out to be but it lacks a certain simplicity that Halo 3 had.

Man, Halo 3 was fantastic.

But still, the era of Halo has passed. It will always have its dedicated fanbase (That will rage on everything but whatever). Now, its Call of Duty's era to shine but just like COD4 appeared out of no whee, we'll get something new soon enough.

Best thing to happen to Halo, in my opinion. Hopefully, for Halo 5, 343 just stops trying to please the un-pleasable SUPER HARDCORE DUDEBRO GAMERS and focuses on making a FUN game.

IMO, you can't have a large casual audience without a stable, dedicated hardcore crowd when it comes to FPS games.

I do not comprehend how this makes sense?

There's never really been a successful, long-term multiplayer FPS that didn't have a core group of competitive gamers lauding it to attract a casual audience.

Maybe it would have been better if I had said that if an FPS game isn't built with competition in mind, it will have a short shelf life and fail to find a large audience. Halo 4 is kind of proving that right now.

Ah I suppose I do see where you're coming from. I disagree with it but it is a valid point.

As we first told you in the 12.12.12 Halo Bulletin, ( http://blogs.halowaypoint.com/Headlines/post/2012/12/12/The-Halo-Bulletin-121212.aspx ) we have been hard at work on a competitive playlist featuring heavily modified versions of Slayer, CTF, Extraction and King of the Hill. This playlist will launch before CSR (mid-February) and we envision it as both the go-to place for competitive play and the premier playlist to get your 50 in. We’ve been paying close attention to the competitive community’s settings while building this playlist, and will continue to do so both pre- and post-playlist launch. We will share the first outline of the settings next week to collect community feedback and perfect the competitive playlist before going live. The name of this playlist is still TBD - please feel free to give us suggestions.

Some early details on this playlist:

    4 vs 4
    Pre-set game loadouts
    Forced respawn timers
    No instant respawn
    Ordnance on re-supply timers
    Join-in-progress off
    No split-screen play
    Friendly fire on
Max party size 4 with big party matching enforced
    No guests allowed

We’ll be keeping a close eye on AGL this weekend and the settings they are using at this tournament. Please continue to provide feedback as it helps us fine-tune and perfect your Matchmaking experience, and thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Sounds good and I love the heavy objective focus, especially Extraction. Might steal my attention away from Dominion and Team Regicide.

I would love a Sessler's Soapbox-esqe weekly video series with you.

Also: playing bad games. Snarky Alex is best (and only) Alex. Play bad games, make us laugh. I know you love us enough to lose part of your soul like that.

Would have played this but my wireless adapter is dead and I'm having a fever, so I can't go buy a new one.

Honestly, this is great news. While Halo 4, in my opinion, was a disappointment, I'm willing to accept that it is 343 Industries' first attempt at a video game as a team and leaving their new mark on such an established franchise is no easy task. With the second half of Spartan Ops, I think we're gonna see the team begin to understand what they did right, what they did wrong and how they need to address it, for Spartan Ops and future Halo games.

Disney does Skylanders. Who didn't see this coming? It's money in the bank for them.

I predict Disney do something like this with their Star Wars franchise...possibly their Marvel one, too.

Man, they've got so much opportunity to milk this idea to the bank!

Star Wars cant sustain a game like that itself. Big universe but nah.

Marvel, though? Oh my god.
