These are games in my Playstation 2 collection.
The game that got me into Role playing games. The first Final Fantasy game I had ever played and encouraged me to play the older games in the series.
Dress spheres made the game more dynamic and fun.
Enjoyed the art style that similar to Tactics. I put off playing the last dungeon to finish the game. The way of acquiring the Zodiac spear will be the most remember topic from this game.
The dungeons are hard as hell. It's one of those games that requires a FAQ to past certain parts. Inclusion of Dante from Devil May Cry is cool. I really love the character design, music and art style.
This game got me hook on Atlus JRPGs. Got close to the end but never finished.
It was neat that decisions made in the first game carried over to the next.
Ended up buying the same game again but had nice additions.
Bought the collectors edition that came with soundtrack and art book.
An awesome game released towards end the PS2 era. A lot forgiving then previous SMT games. Watching the Endurance Run after playing the game was rewarding.
I got hooked playing this game from reading a Gamespot review. A landmark game that changed the medium of video games. Freedom to do what ever and never having to follow a straight path. one of the few instances were game play overpowered aesthetics.
An improvement of the last games. One of the best collection of 80s licensed music assembled. I grew up during the late eighties and I'm a bit nostalgic for that time period.
A land mark game that elevated the medium. A huge improvement from the PS One game. Playing as Raiden caught me by surprise. There was no mention of him during press coverage until reading the manual. Found the ending part of the game convoluted. I did turn off the console when the game told me too. At the time, I played that game for ten hours straight. I should have taken a break.
New additions to the main game such as VR Missions, Skateboarding and playing in the Big Shell as Snake.
The story is lot better than Sons of Liberty. Playing in the jungle is fun. Switching camouflage patterns broke the pacing of the game. This game has the best boss battles. I always seem to cry when the song at the ending plays.
I played this game so many times. Initially I was disappointed that this game was not as gory as the first one. The story and atmosphere made up for it. This game has one of the best soundtracks.
One of the few female protagonist in a video game who is not overtly sexualized or a victim.
I really hated the box art for this game. It had it moments but it was the beginning of decline for the series.
PS2 port of the Wii game. The psychological exams influencing the direction of the game is amazing, including the reveal at the end. It's a good re-imagining of the first Silent Hill game.
PS2 port of the PSP game. An interesting prequel to original game.
Regarded as one the most expensive demos released. The game was very short only to be elongated by fetch quests. Luckily I bought this game when it when on clearance. A fun mech game that shares a lineage with Metal Gear Solid.
An improvement from the last game. This game has aged well and is still playable today. Also has an amazing soundtrack.
Cool and weird Japanese game. I liked the cubed art style and had a great soundtrack.
Bought the Greatest Hits version. The original version was impossible to finish.
I thought Rockstar reached their ceiling with GTA: Vice City. I was wrong after playing San Andreas. It was like the wheel was re-invented and some. This game has one of the best licensed music soundtracks.
Liked Resident Evil set in feudal Japan.
The first Resident Evil game I have ever played. Played the game for a week and did not go back until six months later. It seems that I was playing the game wrong so I kept dying a lot.
My first opportunity to playing Third Strike. It had all the version of Street Fighter 2 that I remembered. Those games did not age very well.
Got stuck on the very last boss and never finished it.
PS2 port.
Rockstar can release great games not named Grand Theft Auto. After finish the game. All the controversy generated from this game are from people who like to cry over spilled milk.
Best licensed game I have played. Finally saw the movie and it was awesome.
The last sports game I bought on release day and full price. The team of the cover athlete is the most overpowered.
Liked the changes made in franchise mode like operating stadium costs.
The last Madden game I have played with frequency. Other iterations after this one got worse.
