I find funny (sad) how Bioware specifically said they wouldn't pull a Lost for the end of ME3 ( i think it was the lead writer or Casey). And now that's the first thing people compare it to when they try to defend it.

@zombie_bigdaddy: I seen people quote Bioware on fairly specific details from before ME3 was released and if those promises were not upheld then people have an argument for a refund. I guess it depends on how important those unfulfilled promises were to your enjoyment of the game.

Thing is, most of us would rather have closure than our money back.

@Death_Unicorn: Because doing that will magically turn me into a someone who thinks it's my right to demand a change in the story? My point still stands, even once I buy and complete the game the most I will be entitled to it a refund.

Well, first of all, most people are not demanding they change the story but that they fulfill their promises. If they had told us from the beginning the kind of ending we were getting ( copy-paste and full of plot-holes), we just wouldn't have bought the game and that would have been the end of it.

Every inch you give to government is an inch you will never ever get back. How's that PATRIOT ACT (with the sunset provision to make sure the extreme laws enacted in it dont' remain forever) going for ya?

The scary thing about that is that there is not much that people can actually do against things like that. I mean sure we can elect people to represent us, but most of them don't give a shit about the us, unless is election time. And then you have all the people that will support anything just because it's backed by the party they support, even if they dont understand it.

Seriously, i don't know what it is, but I can't play this game for more than a few minutes without needing to lie down. Something about the movement just sends my brain spinning until I feel like i'm going to die. has anyone else experienced this? Maybe its the speed of the movement and the lack of view bob? I had a similar feeling with Half Life 2 only less so ( Although I Eventually completed it.). I tried to play Half Life Source yesterday, and 20 minutes in I felt extremely nauseous. I never get motion sick like this with other games, just half life and half life 2. Its why I haven't finished the first game. Am I the only one who has had this issue?

You are definitely not alone. I also get horrible motion sickness when I play half life 1 and 2, the original portal and the older Doom games. I think it has to do with the speed the character moves since ducking (which makes the character move slower) helped a lot with portal and HL2.

I think you meant : piracy supporting asshole :p

But seriously, they only use this kind of DRM because people pirate games in the first place. How is pirating the game in response to the DRM going to solve anything.

I'm not a fan of having other people lose their jobs, but i must say that i am somewhat pleased that this studio is getting shut down.  I remember seeing an article a few months ago of a Rockstar executive saying something like "serious games are the future". With GTA IV's success, as well as RDR's and L.A. Noire's, i was getting worried that we will no longer see crazy action R* games anymore.. so this piece of news might somehow influence R*'s "serious games" philosophy and discourage it.  A world without fun R* games is not a world worth living in.
Well technically they dont have to lose their jobs since they have been offered a job with the new owner.
