The Community Spotlight - 02/17/2011

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! Luckily this week I encountered far fewer technical difficulties than the last Spotlight so this week I'm in a far better mood. The house keeping this week is brief but still worth going over. Firstly MB's Black Ops Funny/Offensive emblem thread has broken 2,000,000 views...which is a Giant Bomb record. MB and myself would also like to remind all Giant Bomb users to please post your forum topics in the correct forum. Vinny made a trailer mashup of the recent Dead Island trailer and the song Mad World...and musician Ice-T thought it was so impressive he re-tweeted it. Also I apparently have become a Guest Author on Anime Vice? I'm not quite sure how that happened....
Also even though the meme is over week old now the Magician images are still trickling like a leaky faucet! Here are some of the notable I'm a Wizard images this week:

Further proving the artistic talents of the Giant Bomb Community was the recent Staff giveaway. Something you may have been aware of is that the staff hosted a Stacking game giveaway with the catch that users submit photoshopped images themed to Russian stacking dolls in order to be in the running to win copies of the game. The winners have been announced and copies of Stacking have been giveaway, but there were more than a couple of hilarious and skillful images that didn't win any prizes but were pretty awesome anyways. So here's a small showcase of the other creative works the Giant Bomb community was able to create:

Wonderful Wikis
No surprises for this week as all of the wikis being showcased are prevalent and well known heavy hitters. Marvel vs. Capcom has an amazingly substantial wiki entry worth a look. With all of the talks about an HD remake of the first Halo game why not check out the amazing wiki entry for Halo; Combat Evolved. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has a wiki entry as substantial as the world it is set in. With the remake of Yars' Revenge looking more and more crazy check out the Giant Bomb wiki to see what the original was all about. Finally check out the history section of the Daikatana wiki entry.
