Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Community Spotlight! I'm back again, and hopefully on the road to a speedy recovery. This week our housekeeping has to do with recent changes to the site code. Firstly, the site engineers are indeed aware that there have been site instability issues this week. As a result the engineers have released some significant changes to the codebase to help with some of those problems. If you have noticed any issues related to that please report them over here. Otherwise the site should be running smoothly soon. Now with that let's get on with the Spotlight, and preferably without any flare ups.

The user formerly known as PsEG, Trace, has been hosting Forza Race Nights on Giant Bomb for five years now! Read his touching retrospective about the highs and lows of running a community event. Mento has been plugging along with Wizardry 8 and finally jots down his final impressions of the game. GunStarRed read a book! Crazy I know, but the good news is that the book was about the Genesis and you can read his review on the book. Our resident, Resident Evil expert Yummylee looks back on Dino Crisis which he characterizes as the "red headed step-child" of Resident Evil. wemibelec90 looks back on his gaming "Shocktober" which included the likes of Clock Tower and Alien: Isolation. Speaking of horrorFord_dent confesses to loving Vampire: The Masquerade, but hating vampires as a concept. GrantHeaslip extrapolates on why Tidus and Yuna still remain as some of his favorite video game characters of all time. ArbitraryWater combs over the good and bad, but mostly bad, of the new game from Sid Meier. bobafettjm continues to give you a nice snapshot of his awesome work on the Giant bomb wiki, and BlackLagoon is back with a wonderful list of the games coming out for the Vita.
