Well This is Nostalgic...Space Jam's Official Website is Still Up

Did you know that Warner Brother's never took down the Official Space Jam site to promote the site back in 1996? Well now you know and now you can totally check this site out and revel in the magic that is 90's website deign:

 Look at that Font!

 That Background is AMAZING!

Oh yeah this is What the Home Screen Looks Like.

So here's the link for the site. So I guess you now have full permission to get excited for Space Jam for the first time since 1996...I guess? Whatever happened to that Charles Barkley flash game? Weren't they gonna make a sequel to that? I remember Aaron showing it off on "On the Spot" once and then immediately playing through it and enjoying every minute of it.

This happened.

Holy shit, that has aged poorly, almost like a much slower version of Space Jam.

Is that some type of code? Backwards, it begins with JFK; what does that mean?

Wave your hands in the air if you feel fine
We're gonna take it into overtime
Welcome to the Space Jam
Here's your chance, do your dance at the Space Jam
Alright...

It means if you stare at it for too long, you'll start seeing double rainbows.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I tried to play the game on the site but I don't have the most recent version of Shockwave.

Thinking back though, Looney Tunes + Basketball = Wut?

Damn me and my chrome on Vista, no browser icons for me!

Someone with Netscape on their Mac tell how cool they are!

Space Jam = best movie of all time? I think so! R Kelly song, Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny and the Loony Toon gang, aliens, Lola Bunny, what more could you possibly want?

Posted by BraveToaster

I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky.

Space Jam....that movie wasn't good.

Damn it man, you're making me want to see Space Jam again

Not a great movie but I love it, that site looks amazing, I hope it never goes down

Oh Lola. Pretty sure I had a crush on her as a kid.

EDIT: My apologies for how strange that sounds. By kid i mean like five or six, so it's not that weird...right?

Wow, this is as bad as the Sega site I visited back in 97 that had a bad ass Nights flash game.

Posted by damswedon

Space Jam isn't just about Michael Jordan meeting the Looney Tunes

HOLY SHIT!!!
Oh if you have Rhodophobia don't go to the Loony Toons line-up page

I can't believe that the site is still up actually. I can see that being a source of nostalgia for a lot of people who were online during 1996. I was not one of these people, but it's mindblowing to consider that it was likely at the cutting edge during the Windows 95 era.

Woah. Great find Mr. Pie!

The Mars Attacks! page doesn't work. I'm disappointed.

Edited by ProfessorEss

I'm ashamed that the best thing to come out of that movie wasn't immediately linked.

I assume this song is why the site is still up (for unexplainable reasons of course).
And this is why Space Jam will forever be relevant to me and require my posting upon it.

 ...you're welcome :)

I loved Space Jam as a kid.

This thread is seriously lacking in badass rap songs:

Space Jam taught me that Bill Murray and Michael Jordan are friends.

I've never been happier.
Thank you.

This thread has made me very very happy.

1996... Kids, the lot of you. But to give you props, a lot of you had internet in 1996. Space Jam was cool though.

Posted by JJOR64

Damn.  I could make a better website.

Check out the links section. It's impressive how Yahoo! has maintained the integrity of their links. But even more impressive is that CompuServe still exists. Except now they're owned by AOL, which is actually depressing.

Did you find this on Reddit? I saw it there a couple hours ago...

Space Jam was an amazing film. Bill Murray people, Bill fucking Murray >.>

Someone's credit card somewhere is still getting charged for that domain. 14+ years.

That movie was crazy awesome. I might still have it...

Those monsters scared me real bad... They were big and mean!

:(

Also, that starry (and very obviously tiled) background is a spectacular 90's-ism.

This made me think of this:

Aww yeah.

I'm sure I have a "Say No to Frames" animated gif buried in my old HTML files. Chrome barely seems to know what to do with them.

Ha. I just watched the movie again like a week ago. It hasn't held up all that well, but still, Bill Murray is the greatest basketball player ever.

@ZombiePie: So you found this on reddit, right?

Animated GIFs have no right to criticize the use of frames.
