ArenaNet recently released an update that offered players who have purchased all 3 campaigns and the expansion of Guild Wars to unlock "M.O.X. the Golem". I re-logged back this morning to see what the hype was about and yeah, nothing special.  It's a Dervish hero that attacks single targets and bleeds.

However, when I picked up "M.O.X. the Golem", I was given a quest as well.  This quest takes you through all games and gives a nice reward.  I recommend players who have "M.O.X. the Golem" to do this quest!

I got Super Smash Bros. Brawl yesterday and me and my brother completed it 10 hours later.

Yes, I realise that this news is old but I need to update my previous blog post relating to Gears of War 2's Achievements.  Yes, I am lazy  -_-. So, yeah - they're awesome.  More reasonable than Gears of War's Achievements. A lot of people seem to more pissed at the "Seriously 2.0" Achievement but since it is tied to both campaign and multiplayer, it's more achievable.

Only reason why I hated most of Gears of War's multiplayer Achievements were that they are grinding Achievements.  I don't suck that bad online but I don't care to use the pistol (for example) to kill 100 dudes (or girls) just to prove I can use the weapon.  One kill per weapon is sufficent I think (which is an Achievement implemented in Gears of War 2).

Anyways, long post on old news.  Gears of War 2's Achievements are awesome!

Summer has came and is almost over.  Here's a re-cap of what I've done this Summer:

• Joined Giant Bomb.com
• Played some Xbox 360 games (can't remember what)
• Played World of Warcraft (yes, this was stupid)
• Watched some anime
• Friend's birthday and another friend's dad's passing anniversary
• My PC running Vista Ultimate died (don't know WTF was wrong) so I downgraded to XP Pro

Just read a news article over at Destructoid about Gears of War achievements unlocking content in Gears of War 2. I think that this is awesome, achievements was one thing for replayability but now unlocking new secrets in sequel games is the next step!

I just hope that EPIC Games didn't add the stupid grind achievements for multiplayer that they did on Gears of War (such as: Kill 100 enemies using the Torque Bow, etc.)

(we allowed to use "Ass"?)  Well, it's great!
