@Elusionar: I'm not sure if I'm allowed to speak about this here, but let's say there MIGHT be a way to bypass Ubisoft's DRM so that you can play anyway, even without internet connection. I'm sure Google can lend you a hand.

@JP_Russell: Sure, I guess you could look at it that way. But if you fail and get detected, you'd either have to run or swing your sword like crazy to kill them off before you take too much damage yourself. Now, I like to be the calm, focused, master of the blade. I won't start a fight unless it's absolutely necessary - but if they come swinging at me, I'll cut them up like pigs and walk away barely touched.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for an one-hand weapon blocking mod. I usually play as a sneaky one-hand sword + bow character, but since they made it only possible to block with shields and two-hand weapons, that will be hard.

EDIT: Also this, @Ravenlight said:

No fast-travel mod. Walking is hardcore!

@shadystx: Phew. I put the working stick in the second slot like you said, and it has worked perfectly for several hours. I'll try and only use the faulty stick tomorrow and see what happens. But I sent a mail to the supplier about it and got a response that I have to send back the RAM sticks in their original package so they can test it, and it can take up to 10 days before I get the replacements. And if they don't see anything wrong with them, I will have to pay for the whole thing - which worries me, because when I ran a MemTest after the computer had been off for a while, I didn't get any errors, and I could install games if I did it quickly after boot up.

@shadystx: Yeah, I removed the RAM stick in the second slot and haven't had problems since. But you're right, I should make certain that it is the RAM stick - I'll switch the working stick with the one I think is faulty and see how it works out.

I don't think it's because the stick is extra sensitive to heat anymore, because like I said a few posts back, I upped the voltage from 1.5V to 1.65V and it made them more stable. (higher voltage = more heat, right?)

@SeriouslyNow: Aye, I will call the support and demand new RAM tomorrow, but I will remove the faulty stick so that I can use my computer until I get the replacements. Usually takes two workdays.

@shadystx: Actually, as it turned out, just like @LunarAura said, the problem isn't really fixed. It's better, but I still get BSODs (but less frequently). So I will take your advice and try that out tomorrow, cause it's time for me to go to sleep.

@LunarAura: Oh. Well alright, I better ask for replacements then. Thanks! =)
