Strange engine sound

#1 Posted by FritzDude (2251 posts) -

So i picked up recently this gem of a game and i was surprised how good everytihng is even if it's 3-4 years old. But for some reason my car makes this strange sound. This razzle-something sound. At first i thought it was my WV Golf GTI's exhaust, but after a while i thought it was my TV, so i made sure if it's my TV by changing different position to get different sound levels, and so i found out it's the freakin' car. Wtf? I never heard it before, but it's kinda nice, i guess... sometimes. It doesn't sound like something that would come out of a car's engine.

@FritzDude: apparently if the game is installed to the harddrive, it will make the engine noise sometimes pop and otherwise mess up. Did you install the game to your harddrive? Deleting the install should fix the problem.

@Supermarius:
Yes. Also the music will get corrupt aswell, going into a slowmotion tune, it's really strange how an instalation can destroy a game. Too bad i need to play it with the disc rotating, making the fans of my system spin higher and my disc and lazer spin too, but i got the Slim 360 so it's not "that" bad. Thanks for clearing this up.
