Disney has shut down Propaganda games, it should be popping up on gaming sites any minute now. I had amazing experience working at Prop and hope everyone laid off land on their feet.

Propaganda Games was a Vancouver, B.C. based development studio owned by Disney Interactive.
Disney has shut down Propganda games :(
If this is true, that sucks. First cancelling that Pirates game, and now this. Good luck to all the people left unemployed because of this (if this turns out to be true).
" And nobody listens to me when I say Disney, like the rest of the movie studios, is just on board for the money and not actual video game making... "It's not like Disney is the one developing the games and guess what, publishers in charge of the money shut down smaller studios when the games they make don't do so hot.
You can only do so much with the '08 Turok game and Tron: Evolution. Armada of the Damned was their one legitimately exciting project which is the true sad story that it got canceled.
" And nobody listens to me when I say Disney, like the rest of the movie studios, is just on board for the money and not actual video game making... "Yeah but you live in a fantasy world where people make million seller mainstream games like COD Black Ops because they're passionate about their art.
Damn man. Have you and Nick and Simon figured out where you're going to hang for the day?
that's a big time bummer. pour one out for the good folk over at propaganda. hope ya'll find good work soon. atleast GDC is around the corner to start looking around and getting apps into people. good luck to you all.
@Tuffgong:
Okay, okay, I admit it. Nobody is making video games for the sole reason of making video games. Everybody is just out there for profits and to please share holders. Yes, I understand now that the video game industry is no different than the music, film, or television production. Just mass producing product to stimulate the mind and keep it busy.
Joystiq has confirmed the closer
" Well this sucks, sure their work wasn't great but good people losing their job is never cool. "well I mean their work being not great is an odd statement. Even AAA games that we might see as bad still have a lot of fully functional work that went into them, some programmer may be incredible at his job but because of someone way higher up making upper level changes the guy still loses his job. That's the real tragedy about all of this.
