    Propaganda Games was a game development studio based in Vancouver, B.C. They were founded in 2005 by former employees of  EA Canada such as Josh Holmes, Howard Donaldson, Jorge Freitas, and Daryl Anselm o. Developers working at Propaganda included alumni from franchises produced at other studios including NBA Street, Def Jam, Battlefield, Quake, Fifa, and Need for Speed Underground. They were owned by Disney Interactive Studios, the interactive entertainment division of Buena Vista.

    They were best known for producing the Turok game released in 2008, and Tron Evolution released in 2010.
     

    Restructuring and Closure

    In October of 2010, Disney Interactive confirmed massive layoffs for Propaganda Games. Rumored to be more than 100 people, the layoffs have forced the cancellation of Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. The remaining members of Pirates team have been moved over to the Tron: Evolution team. 
     
    In January 2011, it was announced that Propaganda Games was officially closed by Disney Interactive.
