You either can go to murderyourmaker.com and see the 5 second teaser. This is Prototype 2's offical website. Like always though, I got my news from GameInformer because they get news the fastest. Link:

So who's ready for Prototype 2? I know a lot of people weren't too fond of it because it had a lot of problems but I want to see one. I played more then half of it but couldn't finish it due to problems but I will be playing it soon. It wasn't the best game of 2009 but it was quite enjoyable. They have a lot of work to do though. Anyone looking out for this?
Prototype
Game » consists of 11 releases. Released Jun 09, 2009
Prototype is an open-world action game from Radical Entertainment. You are Alex Mercer, a human transformed by a deadly virus into a virtually invincible killing machine.
Prototype 2 will be shown at the VGA's.
I liked the first game a lot except some of the shit felt excruciatingly cheap. I got pissed at one of the end-game bosses, said fuck it and put the game in my mailbox (Gamefly). First time I'd ever been that angry at a game. If there's less cheap-feeling things, then I'll definitely be looking forward to this. I loved the concept and simply floating around and climbing was pretty fun as well as the combat when you weren't fighting 3 helicopters, 4 tanks, 6 dudes with bazookas, and 15 of the steroid junky monsters.

@DrPockets000: I find inFamous much better. But opinions everyone!
@xobballox: Yeah. There were cheap fights. The challenges were what pissed me off though.
@The_Laughing_Man: What xobballox said. Cheap fights and such.
Didn't like the first game but I'm glad to see they are making a sequel. There is definitely a lot of potential there for a great game.
Pedestrian sequal to a mediocre game, in other news the VGA's continue its 7 year streak of sucking.
I always meant, better never got around to playin Prototype - maybe I should start hunting for a cheap copy.
Yeah, I'm down with another Prototype. Didn't love the first one, but thought it was engaging enough. Strangly enough, that's exactly how I felt about inFamous. Superpowered open world action games aren't really in my wheelhouse, but those two were pretty good (action in Prototype was better, story in inFamous was better).
People actually want a Prototype sequel? Are they sure about that? Did they actually play the first game?
I'm personally not against about a Prototype sequel. I played the original and unlike a lot of people here completed the whole campaign on hard, which if I remember correctly was a pain in the ass at some points but that was mostly due to some weird camera angle stuff. However I didn't bother with a lot of the challenges as they were incredibly limited and much like the tasks in the original Assassins Creed, repeating them over and over would become tedious.
In conclusion the game was mildly entertaining and offered enough gameplay variety with the different abilities for me to play through to the end so I'm not going to write this game off just yet. Like every game it deserves a chance, who knows it might surprise you.
No thanks, after the first game they should be appologising to everyone for wasting their money. It's inferior compared to infamous.
Im surprised there making a sequel to that game. I thought that it didn't sell well and Activision even laid off half of Radical Entertainment for it.
Prototype wasn't anything special and I didn't care much for inFamous.
@Axxol: You didn't like inFamous and Prototype??? "
I liked Prototype but it came off a little half baked and with no playability I sold it pretty fast.
" @Axxol: Oh. You probably not into superhero games. "Thank you for reading my mind. Actually, you're wrong; I love superhero games, I just didn't like inFamous and Prototype. Just because someone likes superheros doesn't mean that they are going to enjoy superhero games.
Hey, as long as they improve the flaws of the first game and add some replayability (Co-Op multiplayer) I'll be buying.
" @Axxol: Not what I entirely meant. I'm on the phone so I was typing fast. I was also supposed to put a question mark at the end. But I guess they're not just your game. Like me, I like baseball but cannot play sports games for shit. I hate them. And I also don't play fighting games but I like the characters. Eh. Sucks you didn't enjoy them though. "I like superhero games, I just don't think these two are as awesome as some people think. Is there an unwritten rule that you live by that if someone likes superheros they must enjoy inFamous/Prototype?
Tweak the gameplay, improve in-game graphics, give the story an epic deep interest, and not make it all so armeggedon 50yrs in the making themed with all the fire-like gloomy-ass red sky clouds when ever you enter infected territory ( which for some odd reason really anoyed me ), hand-eye coordination button mashing like in god of and force unleashed and spiderman 3 ( games like that), and the sequel should be pretty awesome.
And this might be pushing it but how about either away to bring Cpt. Cross back for an epic boss battle without him turning into a hunter and same powers so its like an even fight, or just an epic boss battle with someone like Mercer.
" I played about an hour of inFamous and sent it back to Gamefly. Prototype was mediocre. "Too bad you didn't wait until you got the really cool Grind Rail and Static Fly ability. It made going around the city soooooo much fun. InFamous did to me what no other open world game has done before. It made me actually care about the story.
