awesome game
the last part was a bit unfair
but overall awesome none the less
you need to get this game if you have not
I would call it more of an action-adventure than a platformer.
Its definitely worth the price. Trust me when I tell you.

just finished it
"My friend picked it up on STEAM for $9.99. He likes it."That's exactly how I came in contact with the game. It's great, all the levels are fun and humorous. My only complaint, and yes it is a minor one, is that the controls feel like they were meant to be played on a console, if that makes any sense.

From my own experience physical copies are a bit hard to come by from most vendors (Gamestop, GameCrazy ect.) but you can find plenty on eBay and second hand copies on Amazon (though the console versions are pricier than their PC counter part).
Steam is always an option and also the most cost efficient and so is Xbox originals, thought the latter is more expensive. I say get it on Steam it's still a completely enjoyable experience and fun to play. It's also convienent and easily accesible. Everything the developer tried to convey in the game is sucessfully translated in the PC version, so it really doesn't matter how you get it, digital or physical.

"ZombiePie said:Ehhhh, personally for me no, but this is about you. Are more of a console video gamer or are you more of a PC gamer? Also do you find WASD and mouse movement stiff or uncomfortable (one of my friends hates PC gaming because of this)? The answer to these questions are key."LiquidPrince said:But is it worth paying a bit more for the console versions?"ZombiePie said:Well seeing how you insulted me on a previous thread... naw just kidding."LiquidPrince said:Is it still worth the $9.99 for a non physical copy? PC is great because you can use a controller (usually) when you want to, or use mouse and keyboard when that's better.
Wow I'm about two hours in and I forgot how amazing this game is.
I'm about where I stopped playing a couple years ago, and I'm definitely going to finish it really soon.
I never had any problem playing that using a keyboard, but yeah, you have basically any control option you feel like having on PC so its no big deal if you want a controller in your hand instead. Haven't played this game for a few years now either, this talk is making me want to go back and play it again, but I have too many things coming out soon to get. On top of never even finishing Fallout 3, yet the first DLC is already here :\
Yeah I should probably be playing other stuff but honestly, I'm having more fun with this game than any of the games I need to finish.
I am laughing so hard right now. Does anyone remember the part where the lungfish finally tells you it's name?
"LIIIINNNDDDAAAA"
"Wow, what a magical lady!"
I just finished it...in 2 days.
That game is AMAAAZING.
But I agree that the ending is stupidly hard.
Best game of 2009 so far! (stfu)
LP, I don't think it makes any difference. The game is about the story and the presentation. The controls for PC are intuitive enough. Can't speak for the console version. Either way, though, the gameplay is secondary. It's more about being taken for an awesome, surreal ride. The game is so easy (barring one or two spots at the very end), any difference in the control scheme should have a negligible effect.
