High production values, good casting and sets, but it still feels like one of those net remakes people do where they dress up and act like a videogame character. At least this one isn't embarrassing to watch like so many of those ones done by internet fans.
It's probably only for internet use, I don't see it attracting the TV audience. They could keep some of it but add more of the gameplay stuff seen in the first couple of Punch-Out!! trailers, those did a good job at selling the game.
I'll probably play it NES style, I don't like what they did with the motion controls. They could have at least added swaying for the left, right and down dodging, the rest functions I understand would probably be too complex for the nunchuck to recognise (like differentiating between a normal punch and a jab), but the dodging? Why not? They could have also had balance board support with the center of gravity doing the dodge and punch modifiers as opposed to button presses. A wasted opportunity really. Oh well, I was always going to revert to classic controls, I love Super Punch-Out!! on the Virtual Console too much... Awesome video anyway :)
Apparently it's the same dudes that did that Wario Land advert on YouTube with the page collapsing according to the action etc (can't link, it's been removed now). Great marketing team, they just get it.
