Pure is a new offroad racing game from Black Rock Studios. Formerly known as Climax Racing, Black Rock is also responsible for both the ATV Offroad Fury  and MotoGP series.

Pure will feature 16-player offline and online races featuring fully customizable ATVs. Black Rock is currently claiming that there are over 100,000 different vehicle possibilities in the game. Pure puts a large emphasis on vertigo-inducing jumps and insane stunts which net you boost, similar to the SSX series. Filling the boost meter also grants access to more complicated tricks and over-the-top special tricks. You start out with standard tricks, and after filling the boost meter, you can perform the intermediate and expert tricks. Tricks are easy to perform; all you have to do is tap either the A button (for standard tricks), the B button (for intermediate tricks), and the Y button (for expert tricks) and then push the left stick in a direction and you will perform one of the 70 tricks in the game. The game includes 48 tracks in locales such as the American north- and southwest, Italy, and tropical shorelines in Thailand.

Pure also took home the 2008 E3 Critic's Award for best racing game.

On Thursday, September 4, 2008, a demo for Pure was released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The demo includes Mount Garda track, located in Italy; one of 35 tracks in the full game. The demo also includes a tutorial and test track to get you accustomed to the game. The demo is 1.31 gigabytes. The demo was finally released in Asia on the 27th of May,  2009
