They don't make them like they used too... 0

First person shooters didn’t used to care about story. Some (Quake included) didn’t really care about single player at all, multiplayer was where the true action was at and that was just fine. Shooters were loud; hard rock played as you mowed down enemies. They were fast, unlike any modern shooter as of post 2007 but perhaps those were simpler times and games such as DOOM and Quake have are products of their time and decade.Wrong.If anything in comparison to the majority of most mode...

Blissful Shooter in a Box 0

 Quake II is one of the original gems of PC gaming, if not just gaming itself. The graphics were pure gold for it's time (and really, they didn't age too bad). The soundtrack was killer. And the enemy types and guns were just huge. This is probably one of the best shooters to ever hit the scene and is still very much enjoyable to this day.
