Simpsons mod

Came across this and I was astounded at the level of detail someone put into this map. I know the video is a little old but damn, the effort someone put into this. The individually modeled 3D renders of the toys on Bart's shelf seem like they were above and beyond the call of duty for this. Kinda wish they'd played it on TNT last week - I know Will Smith would likely have appreciated this. Wouldn't have been the same without Gary Whitta around though, they're constantly firing off Simpson's references on the Tested podcast.

Might have to buy the ID pack the next time it goes on sale just so I can install this...

I know, right?! Can't believe how nice the Quake 3 engine can look also. Its a really close approximation of the source material too.

Damn this map is fun. I remember me and a friend would put in the max number of bots in Team DM and have them all follow us into the teleporter which would be this small little lab. Having so many people in such a small space was so awesome.

Hmm. I remember that.
Someone needs to make a Planet Express map. Now.

Map. Not mod. There was Simpsons CS maps and stuff as well.

Why do maps like these always have, like, no textures? I mean I get that you're going for the "cartoon" look but fuck, it just looks bad.
That said, the map itself is pretty neat.
