Quantum Theory Scans Reveal Gameplay, the PS3’s Gears

I'm not sure if we're allowed to post scans here, so I didn't post them, but Quantum Theory looks just like Gears of War in the few new screenshots released in the scans. Seriously, take a look for yourself.

Could this be the PlayStation 3's Gears?

Looks like anime-Gears of War. I wouldn't say it's grittier or darker at all, but it has the Gears vibe (again, Animed out).

Could be interesting but thinking of the gameplay I don't think there's any track record to expect a great game, compared to Epic who we know can produce a quality shooter.

I don't know, the screens on the second scan send out the dark vibe to me. It could just be me.

Yeah, it is Gears-like in tone but I mean in the last Gears game a guy committed suicide with a shotgun, and the vibe of that series is about as dark as it gets. Chainsaw guns man, chainsaw guns.

Isn't that the point? Last I heard about this game (I think this is the one I'm thinking of,) this was basically Tecmo dipping their toes in trying to make a "Western game." So why not just do a straight riff on one of the most recognizable franchises?

that actually looks pretty cool. i think it bolds well considering gears already had a caricature-like character design going on, why not throw in some anime! lol

if its a gears clone, then okay might be kinda cool, but if it can stand on its own, i will be impressed.
