I'm a little confused why the two people who dislike anime the most in the GB office would do a quick look of this game.

Developed by Platinum Games and who? Nude Maker? ...I guess that means it's gotta be good.

For sure, they are hard to see what is going on, I don't think I get the full effect. Game looks meh, not a big fan of hand held RPG games, good to see though in case I wanted to pick it up, keep up the good work!

Yeah, I've heard this game is just unfairly difficult so don't feel too bad.

Bought this game day one. It's absolutely amazing. The story is genuinely interesting and the battle system really opens up with the inclusion of multiple ships in your fleet as well as stuff such as battleships, cruisers, carriers (and fighters) as well as destroyers. Some of the boss battles or scenario battles are challenging and require you to stay on your toes the whole time.

I highly recommend this title.

Played a bit of this and enjoying it alot. Pretty robust ship customisation and the combat is simple to use but pretty tactical. And finding out theres also ground based combat makes this pretty appealing.

You pay a space gypsy to get you to a better place, and realize the truth.... So this is Mall Rats in space?

Boarding battles! So awesome!  This game is fun!
Also, I think the problem Jeff was having is that he didn't set the lady, Mia, to his command position, like assistant captain. In that position, she has high leadership, and that increases how fast the command gauge fills in battle. That would have made a huge difference. Also, the first boss has no attacks at super close range, and the second weapon he equipped hits at that range. Dodge up to him, and hit normal all day.

Above the ship icon for each ship in your fleet are two bars(health/crew) and individual icons for your weapons.  If the weapon icons are red you are out of effective range, which can mean too close/too far.

Your power bar was going up so slow because you did a multi-stage trip to get to the fight. If you don't go one planet per trip your crew doesn't get rest and your ships don't get repaired.  A fatigued crew makes for slower power bar increase.  Fatigue is the red gauge on the left when you're traveling.

Additionally, you have at least one extra crew member by that point of the game. Put that crew member in the right position and you'll get faster power bar generation.
