Outland is a 2D platformer with an emphasis on either light or dark forms to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. The game bears a unique visual style and "Out of this World"-style platforming gameplay.

cool got the quest. Outland does look really 'cool' though I just don't know. I feel kind of the same when I watch the El shaddai videos.

Looks good. Probably won't pick it up though unless it's on sale (400 MSP) or if they release it on Steam.

Edit- Podcast talk made me overhyped. I was told metroidvania with ikaruga. This looks very eh. Combat looks boring but of course it could just be they have no real powers. Also that boss had wayyyy too much life.

The boss battle with the falling platforms reminded of an Adventure Island boss but it was on clouds and going up :)

I'm not too wild about the game itself, but I'm loving the visuals. It's like Prince of Persia (2008) crossed with a little bit of Tron. The GUI  seems a bit out of place though...

Wow really good first impression for me, I really like the artstyle and the red/blue switching mechanic looks cool, online co-op too! Probably will pick this up on release.
