So I've managed to fandangle myself a press pass for a convention this weekend so I'll get to hang with Quinton Flynn. I'm not going in any official capacity but it seems like a good opportunity to talk to a voice actor. I'm planning on bringing a copy of Sonic Generations for him to sign as a joke since I'm sure everyone else will have him sign Metal Gear Solid merchandise so I'll hope he'll see the humour in that. I'm thinking of doing a short interview with him so I'm looking for suggestions for questions to ask him which he won't be expecting (i.e. nothing about being Raiden). So far I've found out he did the voice of Christopher Walken in a short film so I'll be bringing that up for sure.

Ask him if he'd be interested in taking part of Rob Paulsen's Talkin Tunes podcast.

@Dagbiker: He's a voice actor, most people know him as the voice of Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4 and maybe Kon in Bleach.

I suppose I would've went to this if it weren't for the fact they're are other special guests that I've no idea who they are...that plus I live in North Dublin so Southside is completely alien to me. Doesn't help that I've a crap sense of direction but, eh. Maybe next year.

@eroticfishcake: You can get the number 4 and 7 buses from town to the D4 Hotel and ask the driver to tell you where to get off. :) And if you do decide to come we can hang! Just look for the Catherine cosplayer with the press pass! It is €35 for the weekend though. (which is pretty expensive compared to how cheap cons used to be)

T_T But alas, I will be occupied over the weekend painting my sister's apartment (why she can't do it herself is a mystery to me.) Ah poo. Take some pictures if you can though, I've always wanted to attend these cons around Dublin though I've never had the chance. Cheers for the heads up though.

Sneak your way through the con then choke him out and steal his clothes. Bonus points for hiding him naked in a locker. Everybody will then believe you're Quinton Flynn and you'll be able to punch people in the dick with impunity.

You should probably ask him about his role as Henry Cooldown in No More Heroes. Being that this character is Irish and the "cool, handsome foil" to the main character, Travis Touchdown.
