    Overview

Rabi-Ribi is a 2D exploration platformer with danmaku-style boss fights. It was originally released for the PC platform and published by Sekai Project for international audiences, and later ported to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch.

The game has a non-linear approach where a rabbit anthropomorph named Erina (the titular "Rabi") and her fairy companion Ribbon (the titular "Ribi") must find a way to open a gateway to another dimension to save their trapped friend. To gather the necessary magical power, the duo seek out magic-users across the world to help them out, but frequently finds themselves in battles with them due to misunderstandings.

Like many exploration platformers, the game has a huge amount of power-ups and upgrades that not only make them stronger in battle but allows them to reach new areas and acquire even more upgrades. Each boss battle, and the game has many, involves dodging bullet patterns until the player can carve out a moment to counter-attack. In true bullet hell shoot 'em up style, Erina has a tiny hitbox which must be protected at all costs.
