Overview
Radical Entertainment was founded in 1991 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Radical Entertainment went on develop such games as The Simpsons Road Rage, The Simpsons Hit & Run, Hulk, Tetris World, Mario is Missing!, and more until 2005, when they were acquired by Vivendi Games as part of Sierra Entertainment. Radical developed their first game as part of Sierra later that year, Crash Tag Team Racing, taking over the Crash Bandicoot series from Vicarious Visions. In the same year as Crash Tag Team Racing, Radical released The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Radical's second game based on The Incredible Hulk franchise. The next year, Radical released Scarface: The World Is Yours, the first Scarface video game to date. The World Is Yours received a fairly favorable reaction from critics and was a huge success, selling over 2.5 million copies to date. The next year, Radical released their first true entry in the Crash Bandicoot series, Crash of the Titans, the game received a rather lukewarm reaction. They went on to develop Prototype and Prototype 2 in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
Radical has been confirmed to be closed in June of 2012 via a tweet from audio engineer Rob Bridgett
