3D Platformers are games where movement, traversal and mainly jumping is the core of the gameplay. They are a tridimensional equivalent of 2D platformer one of the most popular video game genres in the third and fourth generation of video game consoles.

Combat Bots are DreadZone robots that assist a contestant.

The act of bending at the knees from a standing position. Crouching is an essential part of many shooters and platformers, and can be used by players to stay behind cover or avoid incoming projectiles.
A gameplay mode that pits two or more players in a fight to the death. John Romero is credited with coining the multiplayer term "deathmatch."
A destructible environment means the player has the ability to destroy his/her surroundings. This allows players to use the environment to their advantage.

A dodge move that also propels the character in some direction, like a standard jump would. This can be effective not only for evading attacks and repositioning during combat, but also to get past traps or simply to move through an area faster.
A double jump is the ability to jump while already in mid-air to get some extra lift. In reality, double jumps are not possible and violate fundamental laws of physics.
