    Can't change outfits, GameStop pre-order bonus glitched my game

    It seems my game is now glitched.  When I first got the game, I tried to input the code to unlock the Deadly Assassin outfit, but Rockstar's code validation system wasn't working.  I started the game, and entered the code a few days later.  The outfit showed as unlockable, but I still needed to do the tasks.

    The last task I completed for the outfit was searching coots chapel.  The outfit then unlocked, and I saved my game.  Not sure if I saved before or after I glitched, but when I went to use the outfit, I saw the standard "press X to change outfits" prompt for just a split second in the save room before it went away.  After that point, the prompt simply refuses to appear anymore.

    I've tried several save houses and campfire saves, and nothing will bring up the option to change outfits.  I figured that I'd just reload an older save, but the problem seems to have corrupted every save I have, even some over three hours before I unlocked the Deadly Assassin outfit.

    In most games I wouldn't mind too much, but different outfits in this game give you some rather cool bonuses, so I'm a bit upset about the situation.  Anyone else have the same problem?  Is there any known fix for this issue?  Either way, I'm really hoping the situation gets taken care of in an update.  I've e-mailed Rockstar tech support about the problem.  If I get an answer, I'll post about it here.

    At beds, the prompt is contextual and I can see how that may be messing up. If the option doesn't show when you use your campsite though, then I believe you're very much boned on the matter.

    why dont you try deleting the DA outfit from your hard drive.  Play the game, try something like the switching outfits.  Then download the DA outfit again and see if that fixed the problem.

    The DA outfit isn't really a download.  It's content that is on the disk itself.  Good suggestion, though.  If it was a download, that might actually work.  Thanks for trying.

    @SpaceInsomniac:
    Yes, but its still a code download.  The fact that it recognizes its unlocked may be the problem.  Their little unlock thing may not be working properly and when it goes to look for authorization to use that specific outfit, it may not work right and crash the whole thing.
