A few weeks ago me and a friend of mine were playing RDR in free roam. Well out of boredom I suggest jokingly that we should jog from Blackwater to the other side of the map to that town in Mexico (Can not remember the name). Instead of a "fuck that" or "maybe later" she says it's a great idea.
So it took about thirty minutes to actually jog (Not sprinting) across the maps.
The only times we actually sprinted was when a cougar started to chase us and I had to shoot it and while we came close to Fort Mercer and the outlaws began to shoot at us. So has anyone else tried this and succeeded and if you did post how it turned out for you.

Jogging across the entire map in Multiplayer
Please don't buy a capture card to capture you and your friends walking across the map, please, do the world a favor.
That said, good on you for finding ways to enjoy online!
I got so bored with RDR after getting to 50 in MP >.>
After this journey I just quit completely for RDR multiplayer, the only other time we came back was just to play horde a few times but it began to get repetitive after a while.
I didn't even bother with the DLC, feels silly to pay for trivial stuff that could have been in from the start (not meaning the zombies obviously).
But I have no regrets, town shootouts are ace!
" @FritzDude said:That sounds about right. Just Cause 2 makes RDR's world look like a Street Fighter II level in terms of size." Thirty minutes? Could you try the same in Just Cause 2? "That would take 3 days. "
Hmmmm...I've been trying to get the Stat XP in an effort to level up without dealing with hideouts or random assholes. Between the 100 miles of foot travel and the Blackwater-to-Escalera achievement, I might try this.
I recommend using the Buffalo Soldier character. The shit he says when you press B is hilarious; I imagine him to be Clubber Lang's great-grandfather or something.
" Thirty minutes? Could you try the same in Just Cause 2? "Considering how slow the swimming is in that game? F*ck that... Probably take you longer to cross the map than to play through all the main singleplayer missions...
Still love how JC2 still puts most other open world games to shame in terms of world size and beauty.
