There isn't much of the wild-west culture that we as a society have carried over with us into the modern age.  But there is one thing that I was privileged enough to experience just the other day that I think may just be the greatest thing ever: panning for gold.

Red Dead Redemption needs a panning-for-gold mini game.  I don't care how they do it--quick time events, rhythm game, whatever.  Maybe they could make use of the PS3's motion sensitive controller to literally recreate the experience of panning for gold; you could shake the controller and it would be awesome.

I really want this.

I want as many Clint Eastwood references as possible. At least that way I don't have to mutter 'Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?' every time I go to shoot someone.

Panning for gold?  You saw this?  Wow... the economy is far worse than I thought...
 
That said.  What I want to see in this game is barely any signs of the last game's existence (outside of the whole Western theme that is)  I don't know about you guys, but I thought Red Dead Revolver sucked hard.
