    Great So Far...

Lets face it, by the time i've played through the entire game, most of the people that are on the fence will have had their minds made up so I figured i'd throw in my 2 cents before they become no longer relevant.  Based on the first couple of hours i've played this game seems great.  If you've ever seen a spaghetti western film, the game feels exactly like that.  The world in this game is gritty and believable.  Like most Rockstar games, the dialogue is entertaining and characters seem likeable in at least some way.
The game itself reminds me of what a game would be like if Fallout 3 and GTA4 had a baby it ended up being a western.  As far as gameplay, it seems like it's nearly impossible to travel in one direction long enough without finding sometthing to do.  I will close by saying that this game looks fantastic.  The desert environment really comes to life with the lighting, detail, wild life, and the other inhabitants and the interaction between all of them with the Euphoria physics sets a standard of how animation and environmental interaction should be handled in all games.  I'm off to a great start and can't wait to play more.

Set during the early 20th Century, Red...

No puns, a Rockstar classic. 0

It's easy to forget just how special Rockstar games can be. Grand Theft Auto taints and enhances the company in equal measure with the connotations conjured when Rockstar is brought up is one of modern satire, controversy and a style of game for a very specific type of gamer. As such there was little hype about Red Dead Redemption. GTA with cowboys was the call and despite a larger than usual spread of information from Rockstar there was little idea of what kind of game awaited us. Red Dead Rede...
