Use In Murders

Throughout the Deadly Premonition, the red seeds are placed in the murder victims mouths by the New Raincoat Killer. This is because he, George, believes that killing 4 victims that won't speak and placing a red seed in both his mouth and their's will grant him immortality. He hears this from Forrest Kaysen, who places the seeds in people stomachs to grow red trees out of them. Multiple people are killed with them, such as Zach's mother and Emily Wyatt. Also, the reversed peace sign that is seen multiple times in the game, is at one point revealed to be a red tree.
