Red

Red (voiced by Ashley Barrett) is the protagonist of Transistor. She is a singer who was singled out and attacked by the group known as the Camerata. Red survived the attack, thanks to the intervention of her lover, who took the mortal blow instead of her. The attack did however steal Red's voice, though she can still hum. She is also the wielder of the sword known as the Transistor.

Red's attire consists of a long dress which has been torn for easier movement, high heel shoes that has had their heels broken off, as well as her lover's discarded jacket.
