    Overview

    Rejoice: Aretha Oukoku no Kanata ("Rejoice: Beyond the Aretha Kingdom") is an action-RPG and a spin-off of the earlier Aretha games, which saw two Super Famicom games and three games for the Game Boy. Rejoice moves the focus away from Ariel and to a band of thieves who enjoy raiding villages and ruins alike. Trezno, their leader, is kidnapped by the Demon King Howard and the others work to rescue him.

    The game is more of an action-RPG than its predecessors. Instead of turn-based battles, the player has to run and jump around to avoid enemy attacks and pick their moment to strike.
