    Remote Play

Remote Play allows users access to a PS3 wirelessly via a PSP or PS Vita

    Short summary describing this concept.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Remote Play allows PSP and PS Vita users to access and remotely control PlayStation 3 consoles. Once a PSP or PS Vita has been registered for Remote Play usage with a PS3, the handheld can connect to the home console, even turning it on and off, through ad-hoc wireless networking or over the internet. Under Remote Play, the PSP or PS Vita user has access to much of the PS3's stored media including photographs, audio files, movies, and even some games – games must be developed to support Remote Play (see list of compatible titles below). PS Vita's full remote play support will not be available at NA launch, but work is ongoing with adding utility libraries for PS3 developers to be able to use the PS Vita's touch screens.
